Sound on a build is driven by the combination of keyboard chassis, switches, keycaps and stabilizers rather than this component alone.
For a breakdown of how each piece contributes, see Switches 101 and Stabilizers 101.
Force-curve data applies to switches — see the spec tab for the switch this component is paired with.

Special-edition (SP) variant of the MonsGeek M1W: 75% gasket-mounted CNC aluminum case, MX hotswap PCB (5-pin sockets, accepts 3-pin/5-pin MX-style mechanical switches), tri-mode wireless (USB-C wired / Bluetooth / 2.4GHz dongle), per-key south-facing RGB. SP-specific cosmetic upgrades vs the base M1W: side-printed double-shot shine-through PBT keycaps (for RGB visibility) replace the base's dye-sub Cherry-profile PBT, and special colorways are offered (Silver / Purple / Black). The vendor spec sheet lists 'Battery Capacity: N/A' even though connection options still include Bluetooth + 2.4GHz wireless — this may be a vendor copy-paste error from the wired-only M1 SP, or a deliberate spec change for the SP-edition; verifier should reconfirm before publish. Polling rate is 1000Hz on wired and 2.4GHz, 125Hz on Bluetooth. Switch bundle options: Barebone or pre-installed Akko V3 Piano Pro (linears). Akko double-shot TPU plate-mount stabilizers. Layouts offered: US-ANSI and generic ISO (vendor does not specify UK vs DE). VIA / QMK firmware are NOT advertised — configuration is via MonsGeek's proprietary driver (sibling M1W V2 is independently confirmed not VIA-compatible). Vendor tag 'Discontinued' is present on the akkogear.eu listing.
