Cherry MX Blue is the original clicky tactile switch from Cherry (Germany) — current production is the MX2A revision. ~50gf actuation, 2.2mm pre-travel, 4.0mm total travel, audible click via two-piece blue stem with white slider. Cherry MX-style stem (compatible with all MX-stem keycaps and MX-stem hotswap sockets such as Kailh and Gateron). Sold in two pin variants: 5-pin (PCB-mount, with center plastic locating pins) and 3-pin (plate-mount / faceplate). Choose 5-pin for soldered or 5-pin-compatible hotswap PCBs; 3-pin works in any MX socket but requires a plate.
