Durock

Durock is best known for stabilizers rather than switches, and that reputation is deserved — its screw-in stabs are the default recommendation for anyone rebuilding a board's spacebar.

Four stabilizers and eight switches. The stabilizers run $3.25 to $11.99, which spans the gap between a plain replacement set and a fully clipped-and-lubed one. The switches are the heaviest set we track: an average actuation force of 56 gf, against 52 for Gateron and 43 for Akko. Five of the eight come lubed.
