Akko does two things at scale — keyboards and its own switches — and the switch side is the larger of them. 58 switches against 50 keyboards, covering every type we categorise, Hall-effect magnetics included.

The switches are where the brand is unusual: a median of $0.31 each, with 29 of 58 lubed from the factory, and an average actuation force of 43 gf — noticeably lighter than Gateron or Cherry at 52 gf. If you want light and cheap without going unbranded, this is the shelf. The keyboards sit higher, $49.99 to $169.99 with a $99.99 median, and 44 of the 50 are hot-swap — but only seven run QMK, so most are configured through Akko's own software rather than VIA.
